I cannot tamper with the coolant liquid itself yet the coolant liquid 'appears' to be the culprit, thus i have no idea what to do about this. My question is, has anyone else had this issue? Iv checked all the fans are spinning and the pump is in fully working order (i gave it a good bit of maintenance) but yet the coolant seems to slowly warm up but takes far more time (like 30 minutes) to cool down back to idle temps.
My 3 year old H80i is reporting that the Temperature around the block is 40'c when the processor reports at 20'c, it appears that my coolant has become hotter than the processor, thus heats it up rather than cools it down when i stress test or play a heavy game. A temporary solution is that i now underclock my CPU to 70% and it goes back to near enough the old temperatures (cant really play games though when you underclock that much), and then i noticed something unusual about my hardware temps.
Iv cleaned out my radiator on the H80i and reapplied thermal paste and that didnt really change much. So my processor (AMD FX 8150 3.6ghz) when idle sits around 40'c when it used to be around 10'c (I live in a cold place), and under pressure used to be around 40'c but now goes to 85+'c (getting too hot) and then causes system shutdown.
